This is ME sessions have been specifically created to empower young girls at a time of life when they often feel vulnerable, insecure, and unseen. It is my personal mission that all women should feel unapologetically beautiful, and that starts by capturing the forgotten tween photo years, those ages between 9 and 14, while also promoting their self confidence, valuing self esteem and showing that real beauty is a state of mind, not the result of hair, makeup, or waist size.

Girls ages 9-14 come in for a confidence building photo session. Secretly, her parents have been sending surveys (5-7 questions) to the people closest to her (best friend, coach, grandparents, teacher and of course her parents). When she comes back to see her photos, she sees a presentation that combines quotes from these people with her photos showing her the true depth of her beauty.

Growing up can be hard to do.

If you could be guaranteed to pass on one thing to your child, what would it be?

I thought about this often as I watched my two girls grow right before my eyes. The tween years can be so hard; bodies become awkward, peer groups become competitive, school becomes more challenging. This is the time tweens begin to form their perception of who they are. I hope that children feel the love that surrounds them. That this love will fill them with confidence and guide them through their tween years and onward through life’s endeavors.

and be confident in who they are and who they are becoming.

At ages 9-14, young girls aren’t kids anymore but aren’t quite teens either, and they’re not sure if the things that are unique about them are cool or just plain weird. There’s lots of pressure to fit in and lots of questions about identity. Let's teach our tween girls that the things that are unique about them are what make them special, to help them with the struggles they go through at that age.

Girls this age are exactly the ones who need the reminder that they are strong, beautiful and intelligent, not to mention fun and hilarious to be around. We want to capture her personality and record the last stage of her childhood before she becomes a young lady. We want her to realize her true beauty so that she is confident in herself before she jumps head first into the rough waters of the teenage years.

The This is ME session fee is $197 for weekdays. This fee will be returned to you at your image reveal as a studio credit. Sessions last about 1 hour and include outfit changes

Please note, images are not included with the session feeand must be purchased separately at your reveal and ordering session. You may use your $197 credit toward any of our digital/print collections during your ordering session. There is no minimum order requirement, you simply buy what you love. Individual images (including digitals) start at $150.
